Until today, every audio you generated on Vocloner used one voice at a time. If you wanted a conversation — a host and a guest, two characters in a story, a back-and-forth for a video — you had to generate each line separately and stitch the files together in an editor. Today that changes: meet Dialogue Mode.
What is Dialogue Mode?
Dialogue Mode lets you build a conversation between your cloned voices, line by line, and generate the whole thing as a single audio file. You pick who speaks, write what they say, and our engine renders the entire exchange — with natural turn-taking and each voice staying true to itself.
Up to 10 Voices
Bring up to ten of your cloned voices into a single conversation. Two friends chatting or a full cast — your call.
One Single Audio
No more generating lines one by one and stitching files together. The whole dialogue comes out as one ready-to-use audio.
Emotions Per Line
Add emotion cues inside any line to direct each speaker independently — a laugh here, a whisper there.
How it works
Open any of your voices and you will find a new Dialogue tab next to Standard and Advanced. From there:
1. Your current voice is already set as the first speaker.
2. Add lines with + Add line — each line has its own voice selector, so you choose exactly who says what.
3. Write the dialogue, line by line.
4. Hit Generate — and listen to your voices talk to each other.
What you write
Each line has its own voice and, optionally, its own emotion cues.
What you get
Ready to download and drop into your video, podcast or story.
Emotions, per speaker
Dialogue Mode works hand in hand with our emotion system. Type cues in square brackets inside any line — like [laughing], [whispering] or [excited] — and they will shape that speaker, at that moment, without affecting the rest of the conversation. As a rule of thumb, keep it to about three cues per sentence for the most natural results.
What can you build with it?
Podcasts and interviews — a host and a guest, generated in one pass. Videos — character exchanges for YouTube, ads or explainers. Stories and audio dramas — give every character their own voice. Language content — realistic conversations for teaching material. If it involves more than one voice, Dialogue Mode makes it a single click instead of an editing session.
Availability
Dialogue Mode is available on all premium plans, starting today. It uses your regular character allowance — the speaker structure itself is free, you only pay for the words. You will find it in the Dialogue tab whenever you open one of your voices.
Make your voices talk
Open one of your voices, switch to the Dialogue tab, and generate your first conversation — it takes a minute.
